The Tetons change as the light begins to fade. Deep blues settle into the peaks while pink, rust, and softer colors linger across the mountains. In Teton Night, sweeping lines and layered paint carry your eye through the range, with texture and small shifts in color visible up close.
Painted en plein air in Grand Teton National Park, this piece grew out of time spent looking directly at the mountains. It is one of my personal favorites, holding onto the scale, color, and feeling of a place I love. For those with their own connection to the Tetons, it brings a little of that experience home.
